Chestnuts Northside Residents Association

The residents association was formed in 2002. We cover approximately 280 homes, mostly two-storey terraced houses along with a small estate of Council flats within the following streets: Clinton Road, Gresley Close, Clarence Road, Station Crescent, Falmer Road all of which fall within the St Ann's ward in N15

We have around 140 members and hold monthly meetings. We have successfully lobbied and campaigned for traffic calming, street trees, repairs to an alleyway, our own community noticeboard and safety alarms for all members. We also usually hold annual street parties.

Most importantly we keep all residents informed through our minutes and flyers, and encourage local communication and co-operation.

Main issues and activities: Planning & development, improving our street environment and road safety, building up community spirit and helping each other out, supporting local Friends of Parks groups, seeking better community meeting spaces, environmental sustainability, parking issues.

Public contact details for the association: c/o 23 Clarence Rd, N15
